About me
I'm Charlene Nomeny, a 3rd-year Broadcast Journalism major and International Relations minor at Syracuse University. I am from Eldersburg, Maryland, and live in Syracuse, New York. I'm passionate about educating vulnerable people about the issues that impact them, whether big or small. I also love exposing people to local art and culture.
I currently work for WAER: Syracuse Public Media, covering anything from video game conventions to infrastructure to elections. Previously, I covered music and theatre for Citrus TV.
When I'm not reporting, I enjoy thrifting and antiquing, playing video games, and belting out post-hardcore songs.
I am currently open to internships in Washington, DC.
