About me
I'm Charlene Nomeny, a third-year broadcast journalism major and international relations minor at Syracuse University. I am from Eldersburg, Maryland, and live in Syracuse, New York. I'm passionate about educating vulnerable people about the issues that impact them, whether big or small. I also love exposing people to local art and culture.
I currently intern for Spectrum News in Washington, DC. I've also reported for WAER: Syracuse Public Media, covering everything from video game conventions and infrastructure to elections. Previously, I covered music and theatre for Citrus TV.
When I'm not reporting, I enjoy thrifting, visiting museums and art galleries, and curating playlists.
I am currently open to internships in the DMV, Syracuse, and New York City.
